Meet the Board
The President manages all board positions and presides over board meetings. Also assists with other position's duties as needed.
Danny is a US Army combat veteran; he is also the proud spouse of his Active Duty wife and they have been married for 18 years. Danny likes to volunteer during his spare time, helping others within the community. He also loves to BBQ on the weekends and spend quality time with his wife.
The Treasurer keeps a full and accurate account of general funds, receipts, and expenditures.
Military spouse for almost 24 years, has 2 grown children, and a tiny old chihuahua. Fort Lee is PCS move number 11. Has held multiple spouses club board and executive positions, as well as volunteering for different organizations that benefit military families. Enjoys refinishing furniture and interior decorating, as well as kayaking, hiking and running/walking.
The Secretary is the custodian of FLASC permanent records and is responsible for all property.
Sandy is the spouse of an Active Duty soldier and a mother to her little toddler. She has two dogs who keep her on her toes just as her son keeps her busy. She loves to try new food, drink coffee, travel, and explore new areas.
First Vice President
The 1st Vice President is responsible for the organization of Super Sign Up and Undeck the Fort at The Lee Club.
Rachael is a Navy brat turned Army wife. She is a former high school English teacher who now spends her days volunteering, making clay earrings, baking/decorating sugar cookies or dog treats and napping. She loves traveling, true crime podcasts, reading, froo froo coffee, game nights with friends, crafting, DIY projects, yoga and self-care. She and her husband have a Pomeranian, Honey, and two Golden Retrievers, Bumble and Biscuit. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018, Rachael strives to live a life of purpose and optimism, cheerfully saying that the best parts of life happen before and after a good nap.
Third Vice President
The 3rd Vice President is responsible for recruiting and coordinating with vendors for both The Super Sign-Up Event and monthly luncheons.
Joy strives to live her best life every. single. day. She has found these words by Rachel Marie Martin inspirational: "Sometimes you have to let go of the picture of what you thought life would be like and learn to find the joy in the story you are actually living."
The Parlimentarian is the custodian and offical intrepreter of the Consitution, Bylaws and policies.
Anastasia enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. She spends a lot of time volunteering at her church, Boy Scouts of America, and also delivers for Meals on Wheels.
Laura Beth Olliff
The Scholarship Chair coordinates and administers the presentation of scholarships.
Laura Beth is a Georgia native but loves calling Virginia home. She loves working as a financial advisor who serves the military community. She also enjoys any outdoor activity, especially camping and hiking with her husband and silver lab, Luna.
The Reservations Chair handles all the RSVPs for the Luncheon as well as coordinates with the 2nd and 3rd Vice President.
Proud spouse of a retired soldier, mom of two (Billy and Blakely,) Virginia Tech Hokie, local realtor, and a Southside Virginia native that is happy to be back in the Commonwealth.
The Welfare Chair recieves, reviews and presents all request for welfare as well as coordinates the monthly donations that are presented at the Luncheon.
Jennifer enjoys traveling to and around all of the places the Army sends her family. She and her husband have two rambunctious boys and a cat. She's also a chiropractor, and when she's lucky, she gets to treat the families she meets along the way. She enjoys the rare quiet moments when it's just her and her husband, reading, coffee, and Netflix.
