December Lee Connection
As the holiday season is upon us it gives us all a moment to stop and reflect on how much we have to be grateful for in our lives. Our family, great friends and so many other things. It also makes me realize how grateful I am for FLASC with its great group of spouses. Thanks to our
members we have had an amazing year so far. Our luncheons have been booked to capacity with wonderful spouses, giving us all a chance to make new friends and stay connected with old ones. We have had many spouses step up this year and host a variety of sub clubs that hopefully gives every spouse something to participate in that they enjoy. Also our generous members have already helped us collect a multitude of toys for Holiday Helper, make shoes for SOLE Hope and contribute to many other great community outreach programs by supporting monetarily and by volunteering their time. Our members participation and huge hearts are what makes FLASC great. I wanted to take this opportunity to let each and every one of you know how grateful I am for you. I look forward to all the great things we still have to come! Happy Holidays!

Our November Adventures
We had fewer meetups last month, but you’d never know from all the fun we had! Our Flannel, Fall & Fabulous luncheon collected a table full of toys to support the Holiday Helper program, and we heard from our own Janie Fogg about the special bonds of military friendship. Our November Outing to the Sound of Music at the Lee Playhouse was great fun, especially since we were treated to the VIP treatment before and after the show! We also Decked the Fort at the Lee Club, where FLASC members worked hard to put up festive holiday decorations throughout the building. Community Connection met at the Colonial Heights Food Pantry to help organize donations, Epicurious Club tried out UK-inspired fare at Brickhouse Run, and Outdoor Adventures Club went for a chilly hike at Dutch Gap. Join us next month for our Merry & Bright luncheon, or another one of our fantastic meetups!
